Liz Harvey trained as a teacher and has worked in schools in London, Birmingham, Paris and Somerset. For several years she ran a personalised learning unit within a secondary school, teaching vulnerable and disaffected students, and where she was also Literacy Coordinator, training staff and organising whole-school events.

 

She took a break from teaching in September 2020 to do an MA in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University, and has just graduated with a Distinction. Over the years she has attended writing courses at Jericho Writers, City Lit, Writers and Artists and the Guardian, and has also run her own creative writing classes for adults. TELL MAMA ALL is Liz’s second novel and she is currently working on a third. 

 

Liz has a degree in French from Goldsmiths. She now lives in Somerset with her husband and has three children.
